Welcome to the Lacey Township Board of Health online ordering system. Requests will be processed between Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

 

In Lacey Township, the Board of Health registers vital events and maintains births, deaths, and marriages starting in 1937.

 

For information about historical vital records, visit the State Archives web page. The Archives maintained copies of births from 1921-1923, marriages from 1931-1948, and deaths from 1931-1960.  Please be advised that these are for in-person use only.

 

Vital Records are also available from the State of New Jersey Department of Health, Office of Vital Statistics and Registry.

 

 

PLEASE NOTE - New Jersey law protects and restricts the release of Vital Records.  Vital Records are not public records and cannot be searched online.

 

REQUESTING A NON-GENEALOGICAL CERTIFIED BIRTH, DEATH, OR MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE

 

Birth Certificates 

  • The Office of Vital Statistics can issue Non-Genealogical certified copies of Births occurring within the last 80 years.

 

Death Certificates 

  • The Office of Vital Statistics can issue Non-Genealogical certified copies of Deaths occurring within the last 40 years.

 

Marriage Certificates 

  • The Office of Vital Statistics can issue Non-Genealogical certified copies of Marriages occurring within the last 50 years
